Statue of Liberty
The fifth in our series of original fine art prints of America's great historic sites.
The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. Her official name isLiberty Enlightening the World. She stands 151 feet tall and rests upon a pedestal that is 154 feet high.
Frenchman Edouard de Laboulaye wanted to create something to celebrate America’s and France’s shared commitment to liberty and the recent abolition of slavery in America. The French sculptor, Frederick-Auguste Bartholdi, selected Bedloe’s Island (now called Liberty Island) as her home so that every ship entering the harbor would see Lady Liberty.
Valley Forge

This design recognizes Valley Forge during the 1777-1778 winter encampment of the Continental Army under General George Washington.

USS Constitution

USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, is the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat. She is most noted for her actions during the War of 1812 against the Great Britain when she defeated five British warships.

Gettysburg Battlefield
The second in our series of original fine art prints of America’s great historic sites.
Honoring Gettysburg Battlefield and the men who fought there that day, this iconic view shows the statue of Union General Gouverneur Warren atop Little Round Top.

Fort Ticonderoga
Commissioned by The Pursuit of History and limited to 200 prints, each signed and numbered by the artist, Larry Stuart.
A new series of prints commissioned by The Pursuit of History recognizes America’s great historic sites. The design is inspired by the iconic posters of the National Parks created by the Federal Art Project of Works Progress Administration in the 1930s that have now become collector's items.
Overlooking Lake Champlain and Lake George, Fort Ticonderoga controlled access north and south between Albany and Montreal and played an important role in the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.
